Artist Bio:
Perry Como was an American singer and television personality who rose to fame in the 1940s. Born on May 18, 1912, in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, Como began his music career as a barber before pursuing singing full-time. He signed with RCA Victor and released numerous hit songs, including "Till the End of Time" and "Prisoner of Love".


Como's smooth baritone voice and relaxed, easygoing style made him a popular performer, earning him the nickname "Mr. Relaxation". He became a television star with his own variety show, "The Perry Como Show", which ran from 1948 to 1963 and then from 1963 to 1966. Como won numerous awards throughout his career, including Grammy Awards and a Kennedy Center Honor. He passed away on May 12, 2001, leaving behind a lasting legacy as one of the most beloved entertainers of his time.
