Artist Bio:
Peter and Gordon were a British pop duo consisting of Peter Asher and Gordon Waller. They were one of the most successful British Invasion-era acts of the 1960s. The duo is best known for their hit songs "A World Without Love" and "Lady Godiva," both of which reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States. "A World Without Love" was written by Paul McCartney of The Beatles and became their first number one single.

Peter and Gordon's music was characterized by their close harmonies and folk-rock sound, which resonated with audiences during the British Invasion. They released several albums throughout the 1960s and continued to perform together until they disbanded in 1968. Despite their relatively short career as a duo, Peter and Gordon left a lasting impact on the music industry and are remembered as one of the iconic acts of the 1960s pop music scene.
