Peter Cetera is an American singer, songwriter, and bassist best known as the former lead vocalist of the rock band Chicago. He was born on September 13, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois. Cetera joined Chicago in 1967 and stayed with the band for over 20 years, during which time they released numerous hit singles and albums. He left the band in 1985 to pursue a solo career.
One of Peter Cetera's notable collaborations was with singer Chaka Khan on the duet "Feels Like Heaven," which was released in 1989. The song was featured on Cetera's album "One More Story" and became a hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
