Artist Bio:
Peter, Paul & Mary were an American folk-singing trio formed in 1961. The group consisted of Peter Yarrow, Paul Stookey, and Mary Travers. They were known for their close vocal harmonies and socially conscious lyrics, often performing songs that addressed political and social issues of the time, such as civil rights and the anti-war movement.

Peter, Paul & Mary achieved great commercial success, with their self-titled debut album reaching the top 10 on the Billboard charts in 1962. They are best known for their hit songs such as "Blowin' in the Wind," written by Bob Dylan, and "Puff, the Magic Dragon." The trio continued to perform and record music together for over 50 years, leaving a lasting impact on the folk music genre. They were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999 and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999.
