The group's debut album, released in 1962, included their hit single "Lemon Tree," which helped establish their reputation as prominent folk musicians. They were also known for their covers of songs like Bob Dylan's "Blowin' in the Wind" and "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right."
Peter, Paul & Mary were influential in the folk music revival of the 1960s and were active supporters of various social and political causes, including the civil rights movement and the anti-war movement. They continued to perform together and release albums throughout the decades, earning several Grammy Awards and nominations for their work.
