Despite her initial success, Snow chose to prioritize her personal life, taking a hiatus from her music career to care for her daughter Valerie, who was born with severe brain damage. Phoebe Snow passed away on April 26, 2011, leaving behind a legacy of soulful music and a unique voice that resonated with audiences across generations.
