Artist Bio:
Pia Zadora is an American actress and singer. She was born on May 4, 1953, in Hoboken, New Jersey. Zadora began her career as a child actress on Broadway and later transitioned to film and television roles. She gained fame for her performances in films such as "Butterfly" (1982) and "Hairspray" (1988). Zadora also released several albums as a singer, with her most successful being "Pia & Phil" (1985), a duet album with composer and producer Phil Ramone.


Zadora's career has been marked by controversy and mixed critical reception. She won a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year in 1982 but also received multiple Razzie Awards for Worst Actress. Despite her polarizing reputation, Zadora has maintained a dedicated fan base and continues to perform in various entertainment projects.
