Plain White T's is an American rock band formed in 1997 in Lombard, Illinois. The band consists of members Tom Higgenson (vocals, rhythm guitar), Tim Lopez (lead guitar, vocals), Dave Tirio (rhythm guitar), Mike Retondo (bass guitar, backing vocals), and De'Mar Hamilton (drums). They gained mainstream success with their hit single "Hey There Delilah," which was released in 2006 and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song earned them two Grammy nominations and widespread recognition.
The band has released a total of eight studio albums, with their music often characterized by catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics.
