Artist Bio:
Player was a British pop rock band formed in 1977. The group consisted of Peter Beckett (vocals, guitar), J.C. Crowley (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Ronn Moss (bass, vocals), and John Friesen (drums). Player is best known for their hit single "Baby Come Back," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1978. The song also earned them a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist.

Player released three studio albums during their career: "Player" (1977), "Danger Zone" (1978), and "Room with a View" (1980). While "Baby Come Back" remains their most successful song, the band continued to release music throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Player's music is characterized by catchy melodies, harmonies, and a mix of pop and rock elements. Despite lineup changes over the years, Player's music continues to be remembered and enjoyed by fans of 1970s and 1980s pop rock.
