Artist Bio:
P.M. Dawn was an American hip hop and R&B group formed in 1988 by brothers Attrell and Jarrett Cordes, known by their stage names Prince Be and DJ Minutemix. The group gained popularity in the early 1990s with their unique blend of hip hop, soul, and pop music. Their debut album, "Of the Heart, of the Soul and of the Cross: The Utopian Experience," was released in 1991 and produced the hit singles "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss" and "Paper Doll."
P.M. Dawn's music was characterized by its introspective lyrics, melodic hooks, and innovative production techniques. They achieved mainstream success with their second album, "The Bliss Album...? (Vibrations of Love and Anger and the Ponderance of Life and Existence)," which featured the hit single "I'd Die Without You." Despite their initial success, P.M. Dawn faced challenges in maintaining their commercial viability and disbanded in the early 2000s. Tragically, Prince Be passed away in 2016, but P.M. Dawn's music continues to be remembered for its unique sound and influence on the music industry.
