P.O.D., which stands for Payable on Death, is an American Christian nu-metal band that was formed in 1992 in San Diego, California. The band consists of members Sonny Sandoval (vocals), Marcos Curiel (guitar), Traa Daniels (bass), and Wuv Bernardo (drums). P.O.D. is known for their unique blend of heavy metal, reggae, punk, and hip-hop influences in their music.


P.O.D. gained mainstream success with their hit single "Alive" from their album "Satellite," which was released in 2001. The band has released several successful albums, including "Fundamental Elements of Southtown," "Testify," and "Murdered Love."
