Artist Bio:
The Poni-Tails were an American girl group formed in 1958 in Lyndhurst, Ohio. The group consisted of members Toni Cistone, Karen Topinka, and Patti McCabe. Their biggest hit was "Born Too Late," released in 1958, which reached number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is a nostalgic ballad about longing for the simpler times of the past. The Poni-Tails were known for their matching outfits and ponytails, which became their signature look.

The group released a few more singles after "Born Too Late," but none achieved the same level of success. The Poni-Tails disbanded in the early 1960s, with the members pursuing different paths in their lives. Despite their brief time in the spotlight, the Poni-Tails left a mark on the music industry with their catchy tunes and distinctive style.
