Pop Smoke, born Bashar Barakah Jackson, was a rising star in the Brooklyn drill music scene. Tragically, he was shot and killed during a home invasion in February 2020, just months before the release of his debut album "Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon."

Lil Tjay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, is a Bronx-based rapper known for his melodic flow and introspective lyrics. He gained recognition with tracks like "Brothers" and "F.N," showcasing his ability to blend singing and rapping seamlessly. Collaborating with Pop Smoke on "Mood Swings" brought together two rising stars in the hip-hop scene and helped solidify their place in the industry.
