In 1984, Prince and The Revolution released the soundtrack album for the film "Purple Rain," which served as a breakthrough moment for the group. The album included the hit song "Take Me with U," a duet performed by Prince and Apollonia Kotero, who was a member of the girl group Apollonia 6 and also appeared in the film.

Apollonia Kotero is an American singer, actress, and former model who gained recognition for her role as Apollonia in the film "Purple Rain."
