Artist Bio:
Professor Morrison's Lollipop is a sculpture created by American artist Claes Oldenburg. It was commissioned by the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2006 and is located in front of the university's Broad Art Center. The sculpture is part of Oldenburg's series of oversized food sculptures, which play with scale and material to create playful and whimsical artworks.
The sculpture stands at approximately 23 feet tall and is made of stainless steel and aluminum. Its vibrant colors and larger-than-life size make it a striking and iconic presence on the UCLA campus.
