Artist Bio:
Pure Prairie League is an American country rock band that was formed in 1970 in Waverly, Ohio. The band's original lineup included members Craig Fuller, George Powell, Jim Caughlan, and John David Call. They released their self-titled debut album in 1972, which included their most well-known song, "Amie." The band went through several lineup changes over the years, with Fuller leaving to join the band Little Feat in 1973. Despite these changes, Pure Prairie League continued to release music and tour, with a sound that blended country, rock, and pop influences.

Throughout their career, Pure Prairie League achieved moderate success with several of their albums and singles charting on the Billboard charts. Some of their other popular songs include "Falling In and Out of Love," "Two Lane Highway," and "Let Me Love You Tonight." The band's music has been praised for its harmonies and laid-back, easygoing style, making them a staple of the country rock genre.
