Purple Ribbon All-Stars was a hip-hop group formed by OutKast member Big Boi in 2005. The group consisted of various artists signed to Big Boi's record label, Purple Ribbon Entertainment, including Killer Mike, Sleepy Brown, Janelle Monáe, and others. They released their debut album, "Got Purp? Vol. 2," in 2005, featuring a mix of Southern hip-hop and funk influences. The album received critical acclaim and helped showcase the diverse talent within the group.
Despite the success of their debut album, Purple Ribbon All-Stars did not release any further projects as a collective. However, many of the individual members went on to have successful solo careers in the music industry, with several of them achieving commercial and critical success in their respective solo endeavors.
