Artist Bio:
Quarterflash is an American rock band formed in 1980 in Portland, Oregon. The band was originally fronted by husband-and-wife duo Rindy and Marv Ross. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1981, achieved commercial success and included the hit single "Harden My Heart," which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The band's sound is a mix of rock, new wave, and pop, characterized by Rindy Ross's distinctive vocals and saxophone playing.
Quarterflash released three albums in the 1980s, with their second album, "Take Another Picture," also achieving moderate success. The band's popularity waned in the late 1980s, leading to a hiatus in the early 1990s. They reunited in the early 2000s and have continued to perform live and release new music sporadically. Quarterflash is remembered for their catchy hooks, energetic performances, and the unique blend of rock and pop elements in their music.
