Artist Bio:
Quarterflash is an American rock band formed in 1980 in Portland, Oregon. The band was originally formed as Seafood Mama by Rindy and Marv Ross, and later changed its name to Quarterflash. The band's name comes from an Australian slang term for a new immigrant, which reflects the band's roots in Australia and the United States.
Quarterflash is best known for their hit song "Harden My Heart," which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1981. The band's self-titled debut album, released the same year, was certified platinum and included other popular songs like "Find Another Fool" and "Critical Times." Quarterflash continued to release music throughout the 1980s before taking a hiatus in the early 1990s. They reunited in the early 2000s and have continued to perform live shows and release new music.
