Artist Bio:
Quarterflash was an American rock band formed in Portland, Oregon in 1980. The group was fronted by the husband-and-wife duo Rindy and Marv Ross. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1981, achieved commercial success and went platinum in the United States. The album featured the hit single "Harden My Heart," which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Quarterflash's music was characterized by Rindy Ross's distinctive vocals and the band's blend of rock, pop, and new wave influences. They released several more albums in the 1980s, including "Take Another Picture" in 1983 and "Back Into Blue" in 1985. Although they never replicated the success of their debut album, Quarterflash continued to tour and perform throughout the 2000s. Their music is often associated with the early 1980s rock scene and remains popular among fans of that era.
