Queen was a British rock band formed in London in 1970. The band consisted of Freddie Mercury (vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), and John Deacon (bass). They are known for their diverse music style that incorporated elements of rock, pop, opera, and progressive rock. Queen achieved commercial success with hit songs like "Bohemian Rhapsody", "We Will Rock You", and "Another One Bites the Dust".


The band's iconic performance at Live Aid in 1985 is considered one of the greatest live performances in rock history. Queen has sold over 300 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists of all time. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. Despite the death of Freddie Mercury in 1991, Queen's music continues to be celebrated and their legacy lives on through their timeless hits and memorable performances.
