The band's early lineup featured lead vocalist Ronnie James Dio, bassist Jimmy Bain, drummer Cozy Powell, keyboardist Tony Carey, and later keyboardist Don Airey. Rainbow is known for their unique blend of hard rock and heavy metal, incorporating elements of classical music into their sound.
Throughout their career, Rainbow released several successful albums including "Rising" and "Long Live Rock 'n' Roll".
