Ral Donner was an American singer and songwriter born in Chicago in 1943. He gained popularity in the early 1960s as an Elvis Presley sound-alike, often dubbed as a "sound-alike king." Donner's most successful song was "You Don't Know What You've Got (Until You Lose It)," which reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1961.
