Ralph Carter is an American actor and singer, best known for his role as Michael Evans on the popular 1970s sitcom "Good Times." He was born on May 30, 1961, in New York City. Carter began his career as a child actor and made his Broadway debut at the age of 10 in the musical "The Me Nobody Knows."

In addition to his role on "Good Times," Carter also appeared in other TV shows and movies, including "The Gumball Rally" and "Donny's House." He later shifted his focus to a career in music, releasing his self-titled album in 1976. Despite his success in the entertainment industry, Carter eventually stepped away from the spotlight to pursue a career in real estate.
