Ralph Tresvant is an American singer, best known as the lead singer of the R&B group New Edition. Born on May 16, 1968, in Roxbury, Massachusetts, Tresvant's smooth vocals and charismatic stage presence helped propel New Edition to fame in the 1980s. The group's hits include "Candy Girl," "Cool It Now," and "Mr. Telephone Man." Tresvant also had a successful solo career, releasing his self-titled debut album in 1990, which featured the hit single "Sensitivity."
In addition to his music career, Tresvant has also dabbled in acting, appearing in films like "House Party 2" and "Barbershop Blues." He continues to perform with New Edition and as a solo artist, delighting fans with his soulful voice and timeless hits.
