Randy Meisner is an American musician best known as a founding member of the rock band Eagles. He was born on March 8, 1946, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Meisner was the band's original bassist and provided vocals on many of their early hits, including "Take It to the Limit."
Meisner left the Eagles in 1977 after growing tensions within the band. He went on to pursue a solo career and released several albums, including "Randy Meisner" and "One More Song." Despite his departure from the Eagles, Meisner's contributions to the band's early success are widely recognized, and he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles in 1998.
