Rascal Flatts is an American country music group formed in Columbus, Ohio in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist Gary LeVox, bassist Jay DeMarcus, and guitarist Joe Don Rooney. They have achieved great commercial success, with over 23 million records sold and numerous awards including multiple Grammy nominations and ACM Awards. Rascal Flatts is known for their harmonious vocals and emotional ballads that often touch on themes of love, heartbreak, and perseverance.
The band has released numerous albums including their self-titled debut album in 2000, which featured their breakthrough hit single "Prayin' for Daylight". Some of their other popular songs include "Bless the Broken Road", "What Hurts the Most", and "Life is a Highway". Rascal Flatts announced in 2020 that they would be disbanding after their farewell tour, marking the end of an era for the popular country music trio.
