Raspberries were an American pop rock band formed in 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio. The group's original lineup consisted of Eric Carmen (vocals, guitar), Wally Bryson (guitar), Jim Bonfanti (drums), and Dave Smalley (bass). They are best known for their hits in the early 1970s, including "Go All the Way" and "Overnight Sensation (Hit Record)." The band's sound was characterized by catchy melodies, tight harmonies, and power pop influences.


Raspberries disbanded in 1975 but reunited several times over the years for special performances and recordings. Their music has been influential in the power pop genre and has garnered a dedicated fan base. Eric Carmen went on to have a successful solo career after the band's breakup.
