Raspberries were an American rock band formed in 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio. The band consisted of four members: Eric Carmen on vocals and guitar, Wally Bryson on guitar, Dave Smalley on bass, and Jim Bonfanti on drums. They were known for their melodic pop rock sound, often likened to The Beatles and The Beach Boys.
Raspberries achieved moderate success in the early 1970s with hits like "Go All the Way" and "I Wanna Be with You." Despite their short-lived career, the band is considered influential in the power pop genre. Raspberries disbanded in 1975 but reunited several times over the years for reunion concerts. Their music continues to be celebrated by fans of classic rock and power pop.
