Ratt is an American heavy metal band that was formed in San Diego, California in 1976. The band achieved significant commercial success in the 1980s with their brand of glam metal, known for their catchy hooks and energetic performances. Ratt's lineup has seen several changes over the years, with the most notable members being founding vocalist Stephen Pearcy, guitarists Warren DeMartini and Robbin Crosby, bassist Juan Croucier, and drummer Bobby Blotzer.

Ratt released their self-titled debut album in 1983, which featured the hit single "Round and Round." The band went on to release several more successful albums throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, including "Out of the Cellar" and "Invasion of Your Privacy." Despite experiencing some lineup changes and periods of inactivity, Ratt has continued to tour and release new music, maintaining a dedicated fan base.
