Ratt is an American heavy metal band that was formed in 1976 in San Diego, California. The band achieved significant commercial success in the 1980s with their brand of glam metal music. Ratt's most well-known lineup consisted of Stephen Pearcy on vocals, Warren DeMartini and Robbin Crosby on guitars, Juan Croucier on bass, and Bobby Blotzer on drums.
Ratt's debut album, "Out of the Cellar," was released in 1984 and featured hit singles like "Round and Round" and "Wanted Man." The band went on to release several more albums throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, including "Invasion of Your Privacy," "Dancing Undercover," and "Detonator." Ratt's music was characterized by catchy hooks, guitar-driven melodies, and Pearcy's distinctive vocals.
