Ratt is an American heavy metal band formed in 1976 in San Diego, California. The band gained popularity in the 1980s with their brand of glam metal, characterized by catchy melodies, loud guitars, and a flashy image. They are best known for their hits such as "Round and Round," "Lay It Down," and "You're in Love."


Ratt achieved commercial success with their debut album "Out of the Cellar" in 1984, which reached triple platinum status. The band's lineup has changed over the years, with vocalist Stephen Pearcy and bassist Juan Croucier being notable members.
