Ray Stevens is an American country and pop singer-songwriter known for his novelty songs and comedic style. He was born Harold Ray Ragsdale on January 24, 1939, in Clarkdale, Georgia. Stevens has released numerous albums and singles throughout his career, including hits like "The Streak," "Gitarzan," and "Everything Is Beautiful."

Stevens has won multiple Grammy Awards and has been inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. In addition to his music career, he is also a talented producer and arranger. Stevens has remained active in the music industry for over six decades, continuing to perform and release new music.
