In addition to "Take a Letter Maria," Greaves had other minor hits, including "Always Something There to Remind Me." He continued to record music throughout the 1970s, but never achieved the same level of success as with his breakthrough hit. Greaves passed away on September 27, 2012, leaving behind a legacy of soulful music.
