Artist Bio:
Re-flex was a British new wave/synth-pop band formed in the early 1980s. The band members were John Baxter on vocals, Paul Fishman on keyboards, Nigel Ross-Scott on bass, and Roland Kerridge on drums. They gained popularity with their hit single "The Politics of Dancing," which was released in 1983 and reached the top 40 in several countries.
"The Politics of Dancing" was the band's most successful single, but they also released other songs such as "Hurt," "Praying to the Beat," and "Hitline." Re-flex released two albums, "The Politics of Dancing" in 1983 and "Humanication" in 1985, before disbanding in the late 1980s. Despite their relatively short-lived career, Re-flex made a mark on the new wave scene with their catchy synth-pop tunes and energetic performances.
