Real Life is an Australian new wave/synth-pop band formed in 1980 in Melbourne. The band is best known for their 1983 hit single "Send Me an Angel," which reached the top 10 in several countries. Real Life was formed by David Sterry (vocals and guitar) and Richard Zatorski (keyboards) and was later joined by Allan Johnson (bass) and Danny Simcic (drums).
After the success of "Send Me an Angel," Real Life continued to release music throughout the 1980s and 1990s, with several albums and singles reaching moderate success. The band went through various lineup changes over the years but continued to perform and release music. Real Life's music is characterized by its catchy melodies, electronic sound, and Sterry's distinctive vocals. The band has maintained a loyal fan base and continues to perform live shows.
