Skelton is most famous for "The Red Skelton Show," a television variety show that aired from 1951 to 1971. He was known for his clownish, lovable characters such as Freddie the Freeloader and Clem Kadiddlehopper. Skelton also appeared in numerous films, including "The Fuller Brush Man" and "The Yellow Cab Man." Throughout his career, he received several awards and honors for his contributions to entertainment, including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
