Redhead Kingpin & The F.B.I. was an American hip-hop group formed in the late 1980s. The group was led by David "Redhead" Guppy, known as Redhead Kingpin. Their most well-known hit was "Do the Right Thing," which was released in 1989 and peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart. The group's debut album, "A Shade of Red," was released in 1989 and received critical acclaim for its innovative fusion of hip-hop and R&B.
