Relient K is an American rock band formed in 1998 in Canton, Ohio. The band consists of members Matt Thiessen (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Matt Hoopes (guitar, backing vocals), and Dave Douglas (drums). They are known for their blend of pop-punk, alternative rock, and emo influences in their music.
Relient K has released a total of nine studio albums, with their most popular albums including "Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek" (2001), "Mmhmm" (2004), and "Five Score and Seven Years Ago" (2007). The band has achieved commercial success with several of their singles, such as "Be My Escape," "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been," and "Sadie Hawkins Dance."
