REO Speedwagon is an American rock band that was formed in Champaign, Illinois, in 1967. The band's name comes from a flatbed truck manufactured by the REO Motor Car Company. The band's lineup has seen several changes over the years, with the most well-known members being Kevin Cronin (vocals, rhythm guitar), Neal Doughty (keyboards), Bruce Hall (bass), Dave Amato (lead guitar), and Bryan Hitt (drums).


REO Speedwagon achieved significant commercial success in the 1980s with hits such as "Keep on Loving You," "Can't Fight This Feeling," and "Take It on the Run." Their album "Hi Infidelity" from 1980 was their most successful, reaching multi-platinum status and producing several hit singles. The band continues to tour and perform, maintaining a loyal fan base due to their catchy melodies and power ballads.
