REO Speedwagon is an American rock band that formed in 1967 in Champaign, Illinois. The band's name comes from a flatbed truck brand that they saw in a history book. Their music style is primarily a blend of hard rock, pop, and arena rock. The band achieved significant commercial success in the 1980s with a series of hit albums and singles, including the chart-topping ballad "Keep on Loving You" and the power ballad "Can't Fight This Feeling."


The band's lineup has changed over the years, with Kevin Cronin being the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist being the only constant member. REO Speedwagon has released a total of 16 studio albums, with their most successful being "Hi Infidelity" released in 1980. The band continues to tour and perform to this day, delighting fans with their classic rock hits.
