REO Speedwagon is an American rock band that formed in 1967 in Champaign, Illinois. The band's name comes from a flatbed truck owned by the founder's cousin, which was named after the REO Speed Wagon, a brand of early 20th-century truck. The band gained commercial success in the 1980s with hit songs like "Keep on Loving You" and "Can't Fight This Feeling".


REO Speedwagon has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with Kevin Cronin being the band's lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist since 1972. The band has released over 15 studio albums and has sold over 40 million records worldwide. They have toured extensively and are known for their energetic live performances. REO Speedwagon was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
