Artist Bio:
Reparata is the stage name of Mary Aiese, an American singer who rose to fame in the 1960s as the lead singer of the girl group Reparata and the Delrons. The group had several hit singles including "Whenever a Teenager Cries" and "Captain of Your Ship," both of which charted in the UK and Europe. Reparata and the Delrons were known for their catchy pop tunes and distinctive vocal harmonies.
After the group disbanded in the early 1970s, Reparata continued to record and perform as a solo artist under her stage name. She released several singles and albums throughout the 1970s and 1980s, although she never achieved the same level of success as she did with the Delrons. Despite this, Reparata remains a respected figure in the music industry for her contributions to the girl group sound of the 1960s.
