The band's original members were John Dittrich (drums), Paul Gregg (bass guitar), Dave Innis (keyboards), Greg Jennings (guitar), and Verlon Thompson (guitar). They are best known for their harmony vocals and polished country pop sound.
Restless Heart has released several albums throughout their career, with their self-titled debut album in 1985 producing their first Number One hit, "Let the Heartache Ride." The band has had a string of hits on the country music charts, including songs like "I'll Still Be Loving You," "Why Does It Have to Be (Wrong or Right)," and "When She Cries." Restless Heart has been nominated for multiple awards and has won several, including the Academy of Country Music's Top Vocal Group award.
