Artist Bio:
Rhythm Heritage was an American funk and disco group formed in the mid-1970s. The band was known for their instrumental music, blending elements of funk, soul, and disco to create a unique sound. They gained popularity in the mid-1970s with their hit single "Theme from S.W.A.T.," which became a chart-topping success and won a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Arrangement. The success of this song led to the release of their self-titled debut album in 1976, which also included other popular tracks like "Baretta's Theme (Keep Your Eye on the Sparrow)."
Despite their initial success, Rhythm Heritage struggled to maintain their popularity throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s. The band released several more albums but failed to replicate the success of their early hits. Rhythm Heritage eventually disbanded in the early 1980s, leaving behind a legacy of influential funk and disco music that continues to be appreciated by fans of the genre.
