Artist Bio:
Rhythm Heritage was an American instrumental funk group that was formed in the mid-1970s. The group gained popularity with their self-titled debut album, released in 1976, which featured the hit single "Theme from S.W.A.T." This track reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and won a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Arrangement. The success of this single helped propel the album to reach gold certification.

Rhythm Heritage released a few more albums in the late 1970s, but they were not able to replicate the same level of success as their debut. The group disbanded in the early 1980s, but their music continued to be popular among funk and disco enthusiasts. Despite their relatively short-lived career, Rhythm Heritage left a lasting impact on the music industry with their distinctive sound and successful chart-topping single.
