Artist Bio:
Rhythm Syndicate was an American dance-pop and freestyle music group that gained popularity in the early 1990s. The group was formed by songwriter and producer Carl Sturken, who had previously worked with artists like Taylor Dayne and Lisa Lisa. Rhythm Syndicate released their self-titled debut album in 1991, which featured their hit single "P.A.S.S.I.O.N." The song reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became a dance club favorite.
Despite their initial success, Rhythm Syndicate struggled to maintain momentum in the music industry and disbanded after releasing their second album, "Prophecy." The group's music was known for its upbeat and catchy dance-pop sound, blending elements of freestyle, hip-hop, and R&B. Though they were only active for a short period, Rhythm Syndicate left a mark on the dance music scene of the early '90s.
