Artist Bio:
Rick Nelson, born Eric Hilliard Nelson on May 8, 1940, was an American singer-songwriter, musician, and actor. He rose to fame as a teen idol in the late 1950s with hits like "Poor Little Fool" and "Travelin' Man." Nelson's music career spanned over three decades, during which he released numerous albums and singles that showcased his versatile talent in rock and roll, country, and pop music. He was also known for his smooth vocals and laid-back style, which earned him a loyal fan base.


In addition to his successful music career, Rick Nelson also appeared in various television shows and films. He is best remembered for his role as Ricky Nelson on the popular family sitcom "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet," which aired from 1952 to 1966. Nelson's contributions to the entertainment industry earned him a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Tragically, he died in a plane crash on December 31, 1985, at the age of 45.
