Artist Bio:
Rick Nelson, born Eric Hilliard Nelson on May 8, 1940, was an American singer, musician, and actor. He rose to fame as a teen idol in the late 1950s and early 1960s with hits like "Poor Little Fool" and "Travelin' Man." Nelson was also known for his role as Ricky Nelson on the popular television show "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet," where he performed his music regularly. He released over 40 albums during his career and had numerous top 10 hits on the Billboard charts.


In addition to his music career, Nelson also appeared in various films and television shows, showcasing his talent as an actor. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Tragically, Rick Nelson died in a plane crash on December 31, 1985, at the age of 45. Despite his untimely death, his music continues to be celebrated and remembered as a significant contribution to the rock and roll genre.
