Rick Nelson, born Eric Hilliard Nelson, was an American singer, musician, and actor. He rose to fame as a rock and roll star in the late 1950s and early 1960s with hits like "Poor Little Fool" and "Travelin' Man." Nelson was a pioneer in the early development of rock music, and he was also known for his role as Ricky Nelson in the popular television series "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet." Throughout his career, Nelson released over 40 albums and had numerous hit singles. Tragically, he passed away in a plane crash on December 31, 1985, at the age of 45. Nelson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
